Poefusion Tuesday title ~ Create a poem from the title word Poepelganger.
Who's your poet alter ego?
~
For me, I am haunted by T.S.Eliot's gift of sunlight on a broken column, the revolutionary mind of William Blake and the sense of namaste I feel with Emily Dickinson.
All three are My Trinity, My Poepelganger.
~
This black body
This black face are
Just a cloud
Waiting to be free
Just like
A white body and
A white face are
Just clouds
Needing freedom
~
Some are dedicated to
Revisions and revisions
Some measure out life with
Coffee spoons
And some
Come and go
Chatting of
(Maybe to)
Michelangelo
~
Do I dare disturb
The tapestries of paradise
Woven with
Many threads?
~
I measure out my life with haiku. My camera films my soul. ~ Gemma Wiseman
AUSTRALIA ~ The Antipodes
I love a sunburnt country / A land of sweeping plains / Of ragged mountain ranges / Of droughts and flooding rains / I love her far horizons / I love her jewel-sea / Her beauty and her terror / The wide brown land for me / ~ Dorothea Mackellar (1885-1968)

How true...we are all just clouds passing through life, black or white, what makes one better than the other...we are all part of the grand, living scheme of things.
This is a really good poem. I like the exploration into what's beneath color and seeing what's truly there and befriending these beautiful people. And finally- ending up in a place where life can blossom, together. Thanks for sharing. Have a nice night.
