Pic by Gemma Wiseman ~ Oddly shaped shadow cast by the awning outside the Christabella cafe at the Dromana Hub Shopping Centre, Mornington Peninsula.
The awning must have a little of the cafe name on it, as it is partially outlined in the shadow.

It does make an interesting shadow and with this meme we are always alert for something different.
I love it, Gemma! And Martha is right it is interesting and we are all definitely looking for those "different" shadows! Part of the fun -- finding shadows that you never paid attention to before!
Have a great weekend!
Sylvia
The awning allows cover for the diners. Their comfort must be maintained. However, the shadow cast from this canvas is unique (letters like in a mirror) and leaves a gentle arc over the patrons. A creative and lovely take!
Fun shadows captured while you were dining ... nifty 'ku too ;-)
Hugs and blessings
My Shadow Shots
I really like the subtle letters.
Have a great ShadowShotSunday

Happy holidays!

That's a sweet shadow. Love the burst of colour in the corner! Thanks so much for joining in this shadowy thing each week. I love your dedication!!! And you've only missed one? Wow, that's so cool. Not cool that you missed one. Cool that it was only one. I'm sure you knew what I meant ;)
I hope you have the most beautiful Christmas Gemma!
Warming summer light...now you've got my attention, been quite cold here in Iowa, not much sun, but winter is marching on and it isn't even winter yet, not till Monday. It seems like winter 6 months of a year, you never know anymore with the extreme weather patterns, but we've lucked out so far with little snow and ice...but I have my fingers and toes crossed that it will continue to be mild for us.
Been a very busy week with all the holiday shoppers, I'm a little tired of making soap and candles and moving furniture, but today is our last big furniture load, then we start winding down for the opening of the new store...and we will need asylum after it's all said and done!
Hope you're enjoying holiday and writing and warm ocean breezes, I long to visit me mum in Florida and the Atlantic Ocean, but that will have to wait, got too many irons in the fire.
My thoughts are with you this holiday season dear friend...hope you and family are well...think of me as you inhale that wonderful, healing breeze from the sea, as I'll think of you in the frosty airs that blow off the Mighty Mississippi...many hugs and blessings for a happy new year!
s
