A doctor's carpark is usually a rather ordinary place.
But eerie winter afternoon sunlight created a soft and special atmosphere.

When Earth slips into darkness
All becomes magic

you have captured a pretty unusual light, good work!
Thats a good shot. Sunlight makes it! LG Tina
What marvellous light!
That looks like a fun truck to drive:) Love the color of the afternoon sunlight. Have a lovely week.
Great shot...would you come over and see MY shadow shot truck, too? :)
xo bj
The lighting in this shot is awesome. What a great picture. We have a doctor here that drives an old timey Land Rover...think this truck is a tie with my love for it.
Hmm, I wonder what a doctor needs a UTE for, to shift bodies? Great capture Gemma.
Hope you are enjoying this sunny break in the weather.
Winter light, late day light, the photographer's friend.
The Winter gives us all (any hemisphere) lesser daylight. So the shorter day affects us a bit. Happily, you have captured a burst of light as the day comes to a close. Of course, any brilliance during the dark season is welcomed - in any mundane and usual location!
You have captured the late afternoon shadows beautifully. A truly Wintry shot.
When I read the word eerie, I felt it. My body actually trembled for a very brief moment. You sent this feeling from a long way. But I love the words and photos at the header of your page! The fire shots are fantastic. The poetry is divine. Really!
Of course we're in summer now. Seems so strange. I would love to experience the midnight sun in the North and Winter in Summer in the South. Maybe I'll just have to visit an old friend from Queensland some day. It's on my list.
I enjoyed my visit here today. Thanks.
Peace
gemma~love your words. we sat at our firepit last night as the day was fading into night...your words describe the feeling i had last night.
The light in this is very pretty. Soft.
I like the lighting in this photo and I really like your Haiku!
